Keep the Change Joins the CEEYOUTH4EUROPE Project to Empower Young People Across Europe
Keep the Change is proud to be a partner in CEEYOUTH4EUROPE (101185890), a two-year Erasmus+ project dedicated to empowering young people and youth workers across Europe. This initiative brings together 10 organizations from different European countries with the goal of fostering youth engagement, democratic participation, and sustainable economic growth.
What is CEEYOUTH4EUROPE?
CEEYOUTH4EUROPE is a youth-led European collaboration that aims to tackle three key challenges:
✔ Lack of awareness about EU youth policies – Many young people and youth workers are unfamiliar with the European Youth Goals and EU Youth Strategy.
✔ Low participation in decision-making – Disadvantaged youth often have limited opportunities to engage in democratic processes.
✔ High youth unemployment – Many young people struggle to access quality employment and economic opportunities.
This project seeks to bridge these gaps by educating, empowering, and connecting young people with policymakers, providing them with skills and tools to influence policies that shape their future.
What Will This Project Do?
Throughout its two-year duration, the project will include a variety of activities aimed at educating and engaging young people and youth workers, including:
🔹 12 Webinars on the European Youth Goals, addressing topics such as gender equality, sustainability, and youth participation.
🔹 Training for youth workers in Brussels to enhance advocacy skills and support disadvantaged youth.
🔹 Training for young people to develop a Youth Declaration on Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth and a Cross-European Strategy for Youth Employment.
🔹 A high-level conference at the European Parliament, where young people will present their ideas to policymakers.
🔹 The creation of a Youth Ambassadors Network, helping to spread awareness and promote youth-led initiatives.
🔹 10 Local Dissemination Webinars in partner countries to engage national youth organizations.
By combining education, advocacy, and direct engagement with policymakers, the project ensures that youth voices are heard and included in shaping the future of Europe.
What is Keep the Change’s Role?
As a partner in CEEYOUTH4EUROPE, Keep the Change is responsible for:
🔹 Promoting and organizing webinars to educate Latvian youth about the European Youth Goals.
🔹 Engaging disadvantaged young people and youth workers in discussions about EU policies and democratic participation.
🔹 Sharing project results and key takeaways through articles, social media campaigns, and local events.
🔹 Supporting the development and dissemination of the Youth Declaration and Cross-European Strategy to ensure that young people’s ideas reach policymakers.
🔹 Building a network of youth ambassadors to inspire more young people to take an active role in their communities.
Through our involvement, we aim to strengthen youth engagement in Latvia and across Europe, creating more opportunities for young people to participate in meaningful discussions and actions that impact their future.
