The international Erasmus+ training BEHIND THE WHEEL brought together 29 youth work professionals from eight countries in Bernāti to strengthen self-awareness, communication, coaching and facilitation skills.

From 5 to 13 August 2026, Keep the Change hosted the Erasmus+ youth exchange "REAL TALK" in Bernāti, South Kurzeme, bringing together 28 young people, group leaders and facilitators from Latvia, Poland, Italy and Greece to explore honest communication — with others and with themselves.

From 25 June to 3 July 2026 in Bernāti, South Kurzeme, Keep the Change hosted the Erasmus+ youth exchange "MY BACKPACK" — nine days in which 27 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Spain explored the invisible backpack each of us carries and learned practical tools for emotional wellbeing.

Erasmus+ PartnershipMaxiNGO: international project in South Kurzeme strengthens NGO digital skills and cooperation
Keep the Change launched the Erasmus+ small-scale partnership project "MaxiNGO" (No. 2024-3-LV02-KA210-YOU-000266797). In August 2025, an intensive 7-day training course by the Baltic Sea brought together youth workers and NGO representatives from Latvia, Germany, Greece and Portugal to strengthen digital skills, visibility, project management quality and international cooperation in the youth field.

From 16 to 24 August 2025, youth workers and active young people from several European countries gathered in Bernāti to develop communication, dialogue and leadership skills for meaningful youth work and civic participation.
